Standert Gravel FAR - Suffer & Fun

Welcome to our Gravel FAR ride. We meet from 17:15 for coffee's and roll out from the Standert Cycling Hub at 17:30.

Sign up via Grouprides.cc is mandatory to join the ride and see the route. You don't need an account to join, and by signing up you also sign our waiver. Please be mindful with the amount of spaces. We testing the size out and might extend it.

The ride starts at Standert Cycling Hub and ends at Walhalla Krefelder Str. 6, 10555 Berlin

Anyone is welcome to join our Gravel FAR, but you should have some experience riding in a group at a fast pace. The ride is a "social" drop ride, but is for an intermediate to advanced level and we will ride at tempo pace. As we will be engaging more with pedestrians and dogs an extra attentiveness and carefulness will be required, the tempo will be neutralised at those moments.

Please bring a spare tube and some tools for fixing any personal mechanical issues.

Route: 60km, 2 hours.

Pace: Avg: 30 km/h

Meet: from 17:15 at Standert Bicycles, Friedrichstraße 23a, 10969 Berlin (coffee available)

Start: 17:30

End: 19:30 Walhalla, Krefelder Str. 6, 10555 Berlin

RULES:

1. Drop Ride.

2. Attendees must know the rules of road cycling in a group.

3. The route is on open roads so traffic laws must be strictly adhered to.

4. Fully functioning bike with two breaks and helmet are mandatory.

5. Everyone is riding at their own risk and takes responsibility for themselves and

their equipment.

6. Have the route saved on your device or GPS.

7. Light are requirement in April and September.
