Team Standert Gravel World Championship Recon Ride (in Belgium)

Welcome to Gravel Worlds Recon Ride lead by Team Standert. We meet from 10:50am at the finish area in Leuven and roll out at 11 for a chill recon ride of the last finish loop. The loop will be aproximately 40km, the exact route will be confirmed nearer the time.

Please sign up via Grouprides.cc to join the ride and see the route. You don't need an account to join, and by signing up you also sign our liability waiver.

The ride starts and ends at the finish zone in Leuven.

Anyone is welcome to join our ride, but you should have some experience riding in a group. The ride is a social, no-drop ride, but is for an intermediate to advanced level and we will ride at z2/tempo pace.

Please bring a spare tube and some tools for fixing any personal mechanical issues.

RULES:

1. No-drop ride.
2. Attendees must know the rules and etiquette of gravel cycling in a group.
3. The route is on some open roads so traffic laws must be strictly adhered to.
_3.1. When riding offroad please be respectful to non-cyclists, dog-walkers, children etc.
4. Fully functioning gravel bike with two breaks and helmet are mandatory.
5. Everyone is riding at their own risk and takes responsibility for themselves and
their equipment.
6. Have the route saved on your device or GPS.
