Ours CC is a cycling community based in München. This is the first ride.

The ambition goes beyond the bike. Future rides will include lunch stops, swimming breaks, day trips worth taking for their own sake. For now: 45 kilometres of gravel starting at Kiosk 1917, through Forstenriederpark, past the Wurm river, then back to the Isar and home.

We leave the Isar at Thalkirchner Brücke and head southwest into Forstenriederpark.

Quiet forest roads, good gravel, the city dropping away fast. The route crosses the Wurm river before looping back east to rejoin the Isar, then follows the river path north to the start.

No café stop on this one. Bring a bottle and a snack. There will be time for that on future rides.

Open to everyone. Gravel pace, around 23 km/h.
