Phoebe Gale is one of Britain’s leading young downhill mountain bikers. She emerged as a standout junior racer before making a smooth transition to elite competition, where she has established herself as a regular World Cup podium contender. At only 21 years old, she is widely regarded as one of the riders most likely to become a regular elite World Cup winner and an overall title contender over the next few seasons.
For this event we will be sitting down having a chat with not just Phoebe, but also her personal mechanic Angus Hardie! Angus has built a reputation both as a capable gravity racer himself and as one of the most trusted mechanics in the UCI Downhill World Cup paddock! So, this is not only a great opportunity to fire questions to Phoebe, but also if a great opportunity to geek out on her Orbea Rallon bike preferences, suspensions preferences and maybe learn some tips, tricks & secrets (if you push hard enough) which you could potentially apply to your racing.
