Standert Enjoy the Ride - Cape Town

Welcome to our Enjoy the Ride series in Cape Town, South Africa. We meet at 08am at the OSCS Clubhouse where Isaac, Jess and Laziel will be your ride leaders.

Please sign up via Grouprides.cc to join the ride and see the route. You don't need an account to join, and by signing up you also sign our waiver.

The ride starts and ends at the OSCS Clubhouse.

Anyone is welcome to join our ride, but you should have some experience riding in a group. The ride is a social, no-drop ride, but is for an intermediate to advanced level and we will ride at tempo pace 'fast but friendly'.

Please bring a spare tube and some tools for fixing any personal mechanical issues.

Route: 99km, 3-4 hours.

Pace: Avg: 26-28 km/h

Meet: 07:45 at OSCS Clubhouse, Cape Town

Start: 08:00

End: OSCS Clubhouse, Cape Town

RULES:

1. No-drop ride.

2. Attendees must know the rules of road cycling in a group.

3. The route is on open roads so traffic laws must be strictly adhered to.

4. Fully functioning road bike with two breaks and helmet are mandatory.

5. Everyone is riding at their own risk and takes responsibility for themselves and

their equipment.

6. Have the route saved on your device or GPS.
