Standert Gravel FAR - Suffer & Fun
Standert Bicycles
Standert the REAL mixed gravel ride
Organized by Standert Bicycles
This awaits you

Welcome to The Real MIXED Gravel Ride.

We meet from 9:30 for coffees and roll out from the Standert Cycling Hub at 10:00.

This is a gravel ride led by Alena & +1 (Carlo)

The ride starts and ends at the Standert Cycling Hub.

This ride requires you to signup using Grouprides to ensure we maintain a fun & safe group size for all. Please make sure to sign up. If too many unregistered attendees arrive on the day, we will unfortunately need to turn you away to ensure we maintain group sizes that are safe.

The Concept

We love riding in mixed groups—where women, FLINTA*, and men ride together as equals, push each other, and share the road with care and respect. Too often, those rides don’t feel balanced. That’s why we’ve created this format:

Only FLINTA riders* can sign up

Each FLINTA* rider can bring one +1 guest (any gender)

This ensures we ride with a truly balanced group: at least 50% FLINTA*

We’re not here to exclude anyone—we’re here to actively build the group ride we want: respectful, fun, balanced, and fast.

The ride is not a drop ride, but a ride aimed at riders with some experience riding offroad. This means we will ride at a steady tempo and do our best to keep the group together, HOWEVER we will be riding at the DESCRIBED pace, and even though we will do our best to keep the group together, it might be too fast for some ❤

Simultaneously, this is an actively led ride where the ride leaders will ensure that the ride is both respectful and fast in equal measures.

Why Join?

Because riding mixed is more fun. Because balance matters. Because when everyone brings the right attitude, the ride is fast and respectful, competitive and caring, challenging and joyful.

Let’s ride together—for real.

All participants should have a gravel or CX bike with clip pedals and shoes, and be wearing a helmet.

Please bring a spare tube and some tools for fixing any personal mechanical issues. A bag of Haribo and two full bottles are highly encouraged too.

Please make sure you have the route loaded on your head unit.

Sanitary stop upon request.
