About the event

Join HUNT, Cadence and Andrew Feather for a morning dedicated to hill climbing technique, performance and a healthy dose of type 2 fun.

This event is all about learning how to climb better, pace your efforts and understand what it takes to perform on steep, sustained efforts. Andrew Feather will be joining us for repeated rides up the iconic Chapel Hill, sharing advice, answering questions and offering insight into the world of competitive hill climbing.

The Ride

The event starts at 9:00am at Cadence Litlington, where there is plenty of parking available.

After a short briefing, the group will ride together to the bottom of Chapel Hill. From there, riders will have the opportunity to complete repeated efforts on the climb, with guidance from Andy and the HUNT team.

There will be opportunities throughout the ride to ask questions about hill climbing technique, pacing, equipment and performance.

This is your chance to learn from one of the best in the sport while taking on one of the area’s most iconic climbs.

Back at the Clubhouse

At 11:30am, we will meet back at the Cadence Litlington Clubhouse for coffee, cake and shared stories.

This will be followed by a Q&A with Andy Feather, where he will talk about his upcoming hill climbing competition, his training, preparation and what it takes to compete at the top level.
