Veloroo Rideout!
Join us for Veloroo’s first ever community ride! A chance to bring together people who love cycling, exploring Berlin-Brandenburg, and meeting new riders along the way. We want to build a welcoming community around riding bikes, discovering new routes, and sharing good moments on and off the bike.
Led by Peter, Operations Manager at Veloroo and a lifelong road & gravel cyclist, this ride heads north out of Berlin on a mixed-surface route of asphalt, gravel, forest tracks, and light sand.
Starting from the Veloroo store, we ride via Schönhauser Allee to Schönholz Park, where we join the Mauerweg towards Blankenfelde. From there, we take on fast forest tracks around the Arkenberge before crossing into Hobrechtsfelde. After some flowing gravel sections north of the city, we loop back south and follow the Panke all the way into Pankow.
This is an accessible no-drop ride with an average pace of 20–25kph. You should feel comfortable riding around 20kph on gravel and 25kph on road sections.
